Belinda Zoe Lownds is an accomplished artist who has been painting for over 45 years, specialising in equine, figurative, and contemporary landscapes/seascapes
Belinda was born and raised in the UK, her early years spent enjoying experimental works in charcoal and pastel and soon discovered a flair for figurative art, which soon led her to commissioned portraits.
After emigrating to Australia her work transitioned to impressionist contemporary in oil on canvas, combining a palette knife and fine brush work.
In 2016 Belinda studied advanced art under the guidance of Marcel Desbiens, the founder and director of Bienarte Art school.
In 2017 Belinda was commissioned by the Bellezza group to paint a centre piece for the opening of their restaurant, Bar Pacino in Eagle Street Brisbane.
Belinda shows and sells her art work locally, winning best oil painting and best in Show at the Brookfield Art Show 2019.
Belinda has always found solace in her love of painting, and is passionate to continue in her pursuit to deliver and inspire quality and innovation in her artwork.
